This is the best monitoring solution I've used. It doesn't require any subscriptions, and all files can be saved directly to a microSD card, no cloud service needed.The app is intuitive, and the setup was straightforward. It took me about ten minutes to get the smart camera charger up and running, mostly because I hadn't read the user guide and had forgotten to turn on Bluetooth on my phone.Overall, it's an excellent device for its intended purpose.

Where should I use the camera?
Use it indoors in your own home or a space where you have permission to monitor. Let people in view know about the camera, and choose an outlet with an unobstructed view.
Will it work while I’m away from home?
Yes. The camera needs continuous power, a Wi-Fi connection and internet access. Your phone also needs internet. Use Tuya Smart or Smart Life to check the live view.
Does it work without Wi-Fi or power?
This Type-C Wi-Fi model needs continuous power and Wi-Fi with internet for viewing and recording. It isn’t battery powered.
What do I need to save recordings?
A compatible microSD card, up to 512 GB, sold separately. AlphaTech testing on the current 2K version gives about three months of continuous recording on 512 GB. Settings, scene detail and movement affect retention; motion recording can last longer. Recordings are encrypted; use the app for playback and export. Don’t expect to remove the card and open the recorded files directly on a computer.
What does 2K mean?
The current camera produces 2K video using a 3-megapixel sensor. Room lighting and camera placement affect visible detail.
Can it see in complete darkness?
It has grayscale low-light viewing, but no infrared night vision for complete darkness. Your room still needs some light. Watch the actual demo to judge the picture for your needs.
Can I charge my phone while the camera runs?
Yes. The 2K Type-C camera supplies standard 1 A charging while it operates. It is not a fast charger.
What are the warranty and return terms?
The product has a 12-month warranty. You can request a voluntary return within 30 days of delivery for an unused, unopened, sealed item. Opened products have separate conditions for defects, damage or incorrect items. Read the full return policy before ordering.
